Gallery 1 and 4 - St Albans Secondary College: Showcase

This exhibition showcases final works by VCE Art and Design students at St Albans Secondary College working across a range of media. Students work in painting, drawing, collage, ceramics and mixed media. They explore themes of identity and culture within their individual art practices. Informed by art history and contemporary artists, students work on individual themes throughout the year and produce multiple final pieces.

Gallery 2 - Helen Edwards: Montage

Montage is a collection of works which expresses Helen's passion for exploration and variety in her artistic practice. Evident in all her work is a lifelong love of drawing and her approach flows seamlessly between painting, drawing and sculpture in a wide variety of mediums. Making Art is a daily necessity for Helen as she seeks to represent and share with others her most meaningful experiences.

Gallery 3 - Yahweh the Creator: Once Upon a Time in Mexico

Once Upon a Time in Mexico - Season 1 is a collection of contemporary oil paintings inspired by lived experiences in Mexico, exploring how memory, emotion, and place shape the stories we carry. Blending realism with elements of cubism, the works reflect shifting perspectives and the ways memories evolve over time, while a quiet spiritual presence weaves throughout the collection. The exhibition features seven paintings from the main collection alongside twelve works from the Joyas(fragments) sub-series.
