Group Exhibition: Watch These Hands

Artists: Aboubakar Fofana (Mali/France); Siri Hayes (Naarm/Melbourne); Aunty Kim Wandin (Wurundjeri); Brooke Wandin (Wurundjeri); Uncle Badger Bates (Barkandji); Zena Cumpston (Barkandji); Margaret Rarru Garrawurra (Liyagawumirr), Helen Ganalmirriwuy (Ḻiyagawumirr Garrawurra), and Joe Dhamanydji (Gupapuyŋu Daygurrgurr).

Watch These Hands brings together nine artists whose creative practices are deeply rooted in custodianship, connection to Country, community, and intergenerational knowledge.

Developed through time spent on Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung land at Garambi Baanj Cultural Precinct, the works in the exhibition explore cultural landscapes, collaborative storytelling, and the importance of plants-asking how we can all act as responsible custodians for generations to come.
