Poci's Italian Family Restaurant |
Poci's of Hampton has been owned and run by the same family for almost 30 years, and is a much-loved friendly bay-side eatery serving up homely, hearty Italian food in unpretentious surrounds.
Delivery and BYO are available at reasonable prices, as is delivery of wine and beer with your food order, which is perfect for easy, low-key dinners at home with friends.
REVIEW
We visted Poci's in June 2013 and found a warm and friendly restaurant exactly as described above. After checking out a couple of other menus nearby with few diners inside, it was no surprise to see Poci's almost full of familes and groups.
It is unpretentious, with delicious simple Italian dishes that we really enjoyed on a chilly Sunday evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the Tasting Board (shared by 2) buffalo mozzarella, fried Sicilian olives, char-grilled vegetables, cured pancetta and rosemary . Spaghetti Marinara | A selection of seafood pan-fried in olive oil, garlic, white wine and napoli sauce. Chilli Prawns | Prawn cutlets pan fried with garlic and spring onions in a chilli napoli sauce with saffron rice. YUM!
