In an intimate 10ha bush and parkland setting, Moonlit Sanctuary is a tranquil place to meet and interact with Australian native wildlife.

Get close to endangered Australian animals by day on the award winning wallaby walk, where you can feed wallabies and kangaroos in a natural bush setting. Attend a range of keeper talks, or book in for a unique experience to pat a koala, feed a tawny frogmouth, hold an owl or play with a dingo.

Visit us in the evening (booking essential) for a magical evening tours with close encounters with a range of native animals including Tasmanian devils, gliders, quolls, bettongs, pademelons and more.

The Sanctuary offers Children's birthday parties for the animal lovers, school excursions, and group booking discounts (Scouts, Probus etc).

Cafe offering light lunches is open from 11am-4pm daily. The Sanctuary is open every day of the year except Christmas from 10am-5pm and evenings by appointment.

Only 50 minutes from the centre of Melbourne via the Monash Freewary (M1) and Westernport Highway (A780)
