Metanoia Theatre Metanoia Theatre

Under the management of Metanoia Theatre the Mechanics Institute provides opportunities for artists in the local area to present their work, run and attend workshops and is a contemporary arts venue where the Moreland public and beyond can view high quality performances of a diverse and innovative nature.

The Mechanics Institute is curated by an Artistic Directorate with Metanoia's Artistic Team to ensure that audiences have a programme of multiplicity in artform, produced by a range of emerging and established artists. Works are programmed that are relevant, daring and engaging.

morelandAs part of our vision for a vibrant contemporary arts centre in the heart of Brunswick, we are inviting Expressions of Interest from individual artists, groups or organisations that wish to present work in and around the venue between July and December 2014.

You can propose to use the theatre, studio space or any part of the building. We are interested in performances, creative developments, workshops, one-off or regular events.
