For more than a century Meccano the world famous constructional toy has delighted amused and instructed each new generation.

Each year in October the Melbourne Meccano Club celebrates this tradition with an exhibition that showcases the work of our members.

A visit to our exhibition is a day out for the family where all members from youngest to oldest are sure to find something to capture their interest and imagination.

Held at the Brighton Philatelic Society premises in Gardenvale the exhibition fills the two halls with eyecatching colourful Meccano creations.

How to get to there

The Exhibition is held in the rooms of Brighton Philatelic Society, situated at the corner of Gardenvale & Magnolia Rds, Gardenvale, 3185. (Melway ref: 67 H7)

The hall is 500 metres due east of Gardenvale Railway Station. Three bus routes stop outside the door -- Route 630, Elwood-Monash University via Gardenvale Station, Gardenvale Road and North Road; Route 22, Sunshine-Gardenvale via City, Southbank, Prahran and Elsternwick; Route 605, Gardenvale-City via Richmond, South Yarra, Toorak and Kooyong Road.
