Lakeside Stadium is located in the northern end of the iconic Albert Park Lake and play host to a variety of sporting events, social functions and other events that take advantage of the picturesque setting.
Along with its international standard athletic facilities and FIFA sized soccer pitch, there are many functions rooms available to hire to suit your events needs.
Lakeside Stadium's impressive state-of-the-art facility features seating for up to 7400 spectators, an international standard athletic running track, designated athletics warm up area, and a FIFA-sized natural grass pitch.

Athletics
The new state of the art Lakeside Stadium boasts an international standard athletic running track which will provide a new home for Athletics in Victoria and will stage training and competition at all levels, instrumental for the development of Athletics nation-wide.
The redevelopment project will also include restoration of the historic 1926 grandstand, which will be refurbished to become the new training and administration base for the Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS).
Football
The redevelopment of Lakeside Stadium includes purpose built football facilities such as a new FIFA size natural grass pitch, northern grandstand, electronic video board, upgraded sports lighting and new spectator amenities to enhance the overall experience.
Lakeside Stadium is the home of some premier soccer and athletics teams and as such, is sometimes booked for training and events.

Parking at Lakeside Stadium is owned and operated by Parks Victoria. There is a total of 418 parking bays in the Lakeside car park including 10 disabled car parks and one loading bay.
