Herring Island | Punt Service 2027
Access to Herring Island Environmental Sculpture Park is accessible only by punt from Como Landing to Herring Island Jetty and Landing.
A punt service operates on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) plus public holidays from January to April.
From the first weekend of January (Saturday 2nd January 2027) until the Easter long weekend (Easter Monday 29 March 2027)
The punt is FREE.
There is no set timetable: first trip leaves at 11am and the last at 5pm
The punt leaves from Como Landing (Melways ref Map 58 G2). Car parking is available in Alexandra Ave.
*On days of extreme or inclement weather conditions Parks Victoria may cancel the punt operation and stop access to Herring Island.
Private boats also have access to the island (Melway ref: 2M C2).
