Fairfield Park Boathouse & Tea House Fairfield Park Boathouse & Tea House

Fairfield Park Boathouse and Tea Gardens.

Enjoy our unique riverside venue, casual dining, Devonshire teas & traditional English boats in our stunning, inner-city bush setting.

Just 7 kilometres from the CBD and surrounded by Yarra Bend Park, you can gather and enjoy our simple, fresh and seasonal food in our friendly and relaxed atmosphere by the Yarra River.

Established in 1908 by John St Clair as a picnic, camping and refreshment room area, the boathouse has seen many changes. In 1923 it was raised by 12 feet to help minimise flood damage, in 1985 it was saved from ruin, and in 2010 it went though its most recent renovation with the addition of a riverside deck and terrace.
