Cliffhanger Climbing Gym |
The Cliffhanger Climbing Gym is Melbourne's OG climbing gym, open since 1993 and home to the tallest indoor climbing wall in Australia at 19 metres.
Rebuilt in 2022, it has 30 top rope walls, 24 lead lines and more than 100 routes from beginner to expert, plus a Moon Board and training area.
No booking needed: sign the waiver online, hire gear on site and staff will show you the ropes.
Climbers from 2 years old to adults. Kids, families, birthday parties, schools, Scouts, corporate groups and a youth program for ages 6 to 18.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday 4pm - 10pm; Saturday & Sunday 11am - 7pm. School holidays: Monday to Friday 10am - 10pm; Saturday & Sunday 11am - 7pm. Public holidays 10am - 10pm. Closed 24, 25, 26 and 31 December and 1 January.
